5) Turn off at "Timber Lakes Estates" Entrance to the right. Call us when you get to the gate (if it is closed; we only have one key)
--We can only park in the driveway so please car pool if you can.--

Bad news

Hey fellas, I have bad news. I won't be able to make it to Park City for New Year's Eve. Maren and I will try to make it up for breakfast, but we won't be able to make if for Sunday night. I hope to see you all Saturday night and maybe we can play some soccer that week. Peace.

Great game but...

Two complaints:

1) It's too bad we'll never see this firey team's full potential...(wish we could have played an equally ranked team.)

2) Is it just me or was espn about as bad as the mountain? the Ryan Leif, action figure, and Jerry Tarkanian tangents were too much, especially when it ment missing big plays because the camera was on the talkers.

Lance sucks

Living in Shanghai was fun: I imagine it's similar to the thrill you'd get eating a bowl of someone else's scabs, or slowly slicing into your left pupil with a razor blade. But all joking aside, the people in China are intensely funny. You know, like child molestation--funny right?

Grace and I have rejoined the free world here in Taiwan; I couldn't access this blog in China (something about controlling western barbarians from raping all that is apparently wholesome in this world with their insidious persistence on "free information"). You've done a smashing job; you're all so creative, I couldn't be more proud.

There seems to be a rumor going around that I am somewhat of a pessimist. I find this acqusation wholly unwarranted and down right rude. In order to persuade you all of my general warmth of character and to further confrim that these are fabricated lies, I'll leave you with a pair of anecdotal haikus describing my experience in Shanghai.

Indoor soccer this Thursday at the Hillside, 8 in the pm. We should look into getting a ball, anyone interested?

for shizzle - We gots this here cabin in the Timber Lakes (if everyone says its cool so read this post and let me know) - yeah booooyy. It has a hot tub, fireplace, game room with air hockey & foosball tables, sat tv, music, video-DVD library, internet -large wrap around balcony and floor to ceiling picture windows overlooking a valley basin at 7000 ft. It has less rooms (only 5 private rooms) but there should still be plenty of room (game room, front room, etc...) - plus we will be up all night anyways -it'll be $75 per couple as of today - but we have more couples that might want to come and that would lower the price. if you really want a private room - let me know (I got one for you harms since bella gets the special treatment) - plan on $75 for sure if you want a private room and let me know - first come first serve - for everyone else there should be more than enough room to make it work. So come up anytime from noon on - on the 31st of Dec - it will just be chill in the afternoon- watching games, napping, snowmobiling (if anyone has some) movies, sledding, hot tubbin', nintendo whateever, then the party will start around 10:30ish - (poker anyone ?) and a huge breakfast at midnight to welcome the new year - we are talkin eggs, sausages, crepes, waffles, hashbrowns, you name it - We will make food assignments as it gets closer and if you have any other questions shoot me a comment -

I wanted to give er' one a shout out to see who is down for a seroius new year bash. It's like this, Helene found a sweet cabin up in the mountains somewhere outside of Park city. 8 bed rooms, hot tub/pool flat screen, pool and ping pong tables, ie the works. So what we want to know is if we can rally enough peeps together so that it is not too pricy. I believe that it will be $600, So shoot a blog and lets start rallyin. Are you in or should we come up with something different??

This man is responsible for some of the greatest hip hop albums ever. Dilla produced albums for the following people you may have heard of: A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Common, Pharcyde, De La Soul, Erykah Badu and Talib Kweli. He was also a founding member of the Soulquarians along with Ahmir ?uestlove Thompson, D'angelo and James Poyser. He is one of the greatest and most talented hip hop producers ever. A big event last night in a little city.

Here's some pics of last night Jake, I and some of his schoolmates attended an event in SLC. Anybody heard of these guys: Peanut Butter Wolf, MED (medaphor), Percee P, Wildchild, or MadLib? They do some stone throwing and rapping and chort.


MadLib was a little hazy-minded last night and was caught saying "Let's do that one about money," only a couple minutes after doing the one about money. After looking at these pictures I am definately jelous of his huge amber ring, I told Kristy what I really wanted was an amber ring for a wedding band.

We're gonna have a li'l Halloween get together at the Trailor Park™ Saturday evening. Bring some food and we'll do games and a scary picture show? Throw out any ideas you've got. Taylor will be handing out personal oral hygiene kits and doing tartar cleanings to keep the C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁ at bay.
